Rex grew up in Hartselle, AL and has been serving churches in Louisiana and Alabama since 1981. In 2005, Rex began using his giftedness at CrossPointe Church as Minister of Music. Recognized as a talented, yet humble musician, Rex receives many requests to sing, play his guitar, and lead others in worship. Rex and his wife Mitzi have three children – Kyle, Katherine, and Sarah Beth. Rex enjoys Alabama football, playing golf, basketball, hunting, and riding ATVS.
