An Encouraging Thought by Joe Willams
Prior to our 2011 move, we had lived in our neighborhood 39 years. That’s a long time, and during that time we were blessed with some really good neighbors. James and Audrey were among them for more than twenty years, during which time they were a continuing source of encouragement. When our son Mark graduated from high school, they sent him a card suggesting that he “…go forth and do good for someone.” They came to our 25th wedding anniversary celebration and urged us to keep going. Several months before James’ death, we visited the hospital room where he was recovering from cancer surgery. He had oxygen, and there were tubes everywhere. When he saw us, he removed the oxygen mask and exclaimed, “Hope springs eternal!” What a blessing it is to have neighbors like these folks.

Best Gift to Jesus & Year-End Giving
Your “Best Gift to Jesus” and your year-end giving can be received in person at the Office Annex up until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 30, or post-marked by midnight December 31, in order for it to count toward your 2011 taxes. If you would like to mail your contribution to our office, our address is 808 Eastview Dr, Madison, AL, 35758.
New Year’s Day Service 
We will only have one service on New Year’s Day, at 10:00 a.m. Childcare will only be provided for children birth-2nd grade. Sunday school classes & discipleship groups will not meet.
Electronics Needed
Any good used laptops, video projectors, iPods, iPhones, blackberry’s make great tools for ministry on the mission field. If you have any of these second-hand items (not junk) that you would like to donate we can use them for Pastors, schools, and evangelistic teams in Africa. Click here to contact Ken Galyean.
